The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their 10th Annual Health and Wellness Fest, “Eat Well, Live Well“, on Saturday, May 18th at the Earl L. Vandermeulen High School, located at 350 Old Post Road in Port Jefferson, from 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Free and open to the public.
The purpose of the Port Jeff Health & Wellness Fest is to promote good health to all in the local areas of Port Jefferson… Get important information you require to plan and meet your health and wellness needs. Over 60 health and wellness professionals will be participating including our three major local hospitals and sponsors, St. Charles, Mather Hospital – Northwell Health, and Stony Brook Medicine.
Since we promote ‘Eat Well, Live Well’, our vendors will be highlighting healthy eating, which includes St. Charles Hospital’s Chef and staff providing FREE healthy breakfast, lunch & dessert, ‘Come Dine with St. Charles Hospital’.
Again, this year we are in cooperation with the Port Jefferson Royal Educational Foundation – Power of One Family Fun Run. This is a 2-mile course and begins at 8:30 a.m. at the Village Center and continues through the streets in the Village of Port Jefferson, and ends at the Port Jeff Health & Wellness Fest.

Creating a more ‘festive’ atmosphere there will be more entertainment celebrating health & wellness and more animal related vendors, therapy dogs, companion animals, and SCPD Canines, click here to view a list of the exhibitors. There are FREE health screenings, with many children’s activities, and plenty of parking.
