The Greater Port Jefferson Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring their 6th annual Health and Wellness Expo on May 9th at the Earl L. Vandermeulen High School, located at 350 Old Post Road in Port Jefferson, from 9 am-1:00 pm. Free and open to the public.
The purpose of the Expo is to promote good health to all in the greater Port Jefferson area with important information you require to plan for and meet your health and wellness needs. Over 60 health and wellness professionals will be participating including our three major local hospitals, St. Charles, John T. Mather, and Stony Brook Medicine.
This year again in cooperation with the Port Jefferson Royal Educational Foundation there will be 2K ‘fun-run’ finishing at the Expo. All runners and participants will be invited into the gym lobby for FREE bottled water supplied by Phountain of Port Jefferson and to visit the Expo!
This year there is a vendor game which entitles all participants to win movie tickets that will be called out every 15 minutes as well as being eligible for a large ‘Healthy Family Recreation Entertainment’ basket!
There are Free health screenings, Pediatric Health Fair within the Expo, with many children’s activities, and plenty of parking.
